Job summary

McLane Company, Inc. in Austell, GA is seeking a Warehouse Selector to join our warehouse team. You will move products between loading docks and internal zones, with training pay of $20.55 per hour and production pay of $24.85 per hour, plus potential incentives.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds or more repeatedly.
• One year of distribution warehouse experience preferred (reach truck, pallet jack, forklift) but not required.
• Ability to read, write, and understand English at a level sufficient to perform tasks safely.

Responsibilities

• Select product and load trucks, moving product between the loading dock and the warehouse.
• Move product within the warehouse across Dry, Refrigerated, Perishables, Freezer zones and others.
• Review documents and record information; verify quantity, identity, availability, and condition of product.
• Drive and operate a reach truck and pallet jack to select, pull, sort, and stack product within the warehouse and dock.
• Hand-stack product when items are off balance or in the wrong location.
• Shrink-wrap and label outgoing orders and remove shrink wrap from incoming orders.
• Keep work area clean; other duties may be assigned.
