Job summary

Arvato is seeking an Operations Supervisor to manage labor and equipment in the warehouse, ensuring timely, quality order fulfillment. You’ll plan, organize, and monitor receiving, storage, and distribution while training shift teams and driving process improvements.

Lead a performance-driven department with attention to safety, accuracy, and compliance. The role requires 3–5 years supervisory experience in a fast-paced warehouse, and strong Excel skills for KPI reporting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Experience in a fast-paced, high-volume warehouse environment.
• Knowledge of picking, packing and shipping tasks.
• Experience with SAP or WMS systems.
• 3-5 years of Supervisory experience or equivalent work experience.
• Ability to follow instructions, processes and procedures.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy and analytical skills.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with inventory research.
• Team-oriented.
• Strong Microsoft Office Suite skills, notably Excel.

Responsibilities

• Hire and ensure proper training of new employees for the department.
• Supervise and coordinate activities of employees and monitor departmental functions on the floor.
• Receive and transfer materials.
• Performance management of all employees (KPIs).
• Document, update, and ensure procedures and quality processes are followed.
• Maintain supplies and equipment levels for the department.
• Monitor and adhere to customer requests and vendor-specific shipping requirements.
• Update and maintain timekeeping and metrics in business systems, as they relate to WMS reporting.
• Ensure that shift-end specific department procedures with all systems are completed and floor end-of-shift closeout is followed.
• New customer integration and migration testing.
• Load and unload trucks.
• Understand traffic coordination.
• Continuous involvement and support with departmental process improvements.
• Abide by all company safety and hygiene regulations.
• Follow and maintain 5S Program and guidelines.
• Perform any additional tasks that may be assigned to ensure an efficient, safe, clean, and goal-oriented work environment
