Job summary

Penske Logistics is seeking an Operations Supervisor to lead a single location and hourly workforce, ensuring customer requirements and company objectives are met. This role involves supervising loading/unloading, cross-docking, and service operations, with a performance-based bonus structure tied to site results.

The position offers a Monday–Friday schedule, 2:00 PM–10:30 PM with flexibility as needed, and a strong benefits plan.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years related functional experience.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• Strong written/oral communication skills and the ability to actively listen are required.
• Must demonstrate ownership and responsibility to run the operation with a sense of urgency.
• Must have ability to connect and build rapport with associates and external customers at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Provide operational leadership to hourly workforce to ensure execution of daily tasks.
• Supervise processes including workforce and equipment scheduling.
• Maintain site safety and regulatory compliance.
• Coordinate with managers on efficiency improvements and cost objectives.
• Monitor attendance, productivity and performance standards.
