Job summary

Floor & Decor is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor in Ohio to direct store warehouse operations, supervise staff, and support daily freight scheduling based on customer and inventory needs.

The role covers shipping/receiving, inventory control, and equipment maintenance, with a focus on safe, compliant and efficient workflows. Candidates should have 1–3 years of supervisory experience in warehousing.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of previous supervisory experience in warehouse or distribution center environment.
• Excellent interpersonal, team building, delegating and follow-up skills.
• Ability to work with and maintain effective relationships with other departments.
• Effective communication skills (oral and written).
• Competent in performing basic mathematical calculations.
• Strong computer skills, with the ability to work in Windows-based systems.
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment and meet established deadlines.
• Available to work extended hours, especially during peak seasons.

Responsibilities

• Schedule warehouse personnel to ensure proper manning for shipping and receiving.
• Direct the day-to-day activities of the warehouse incl. shipping, receiving, inventory control.
• Oversee Storage Buy transactions, receiving errors and product staging.
• Maintain warehouse equipment and coordinate preventive maintenance/repairs.
• Ensure safe, efficient equipment and OSHA compliance.
• Train associates and enforce standard operating procedures.
• Handle general employee inquiries and problem-solving.
• Coordinate with other departments for efficient operations.
• Prepare activity reports for management.
• Resolve discrepancies in shipping, invoices, packing slips, and receiver reports.
• Oversee inventory rotation.
