Job summary

Floor & Decor is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to direct and oversee store warehouse operations, supervise warehouse specialists, order pickers, and forklift operators, and support the Receiving Supervisor with daily freight scheduling. The role focuses on efficient staffing, safety, and interdepartmental collaboration.

The ideal candidate has 1–3 years of supervisory experience in a warehouse or distribution setting, strong communication, and proficiency with Windows-based systems.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of supervisory experience (warehouse or DC preferred).
• Excellent interpersonal and team-building skills.
• Effective written and verbal communication.
• Ability to work with multiple departments in the company.
• Strong math and basic calculation skills.
• Proficient in Windows-based systems.
• Able to work extended hours, especially during peak seasons.

Responsibilities

• Schedule warehouse personnel to ensure efficient shipping and receiving.
• Direct daily warehouse activities: shipping, receiving, inventory control.
• Maintain warehouse equipment and safety programs.
• Train associates and enforce SOPs.
• Coordinate with other departments to optimize operations.
• Complete activity reports and resolve discrepancies in shipments and invoices.
• Oversee storage buy audits and inventory rotation.
