Job summary

Floor & Decor in Warrensville Heights, OH is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to direct daily warehouse operations across stores. You will supervise warehouse specialists, order pickers, and forklift operators while supporting the Receiving Supervisor with freight scheduling based on customer and inventory needs.

Responsibilities include scheduling, safety, training, and coordinating with other departments to maintain efficient distribution processes and data accuracy across inventory systems.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of supervisory experience in warehouse or distribution environment.
• Excellent interpersonal, team building, delegation and follow-up skills.
• Ability to work with and maintain effective relationships with other departments.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
• Proficient in basic mathematical calculations.
• Strong computer skills; comfortable with Windows-based systems.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
• Available to work extended hours, especially during peak seasons.

Responsibilities

• Direct daily scheduling of warehouse personnel to ensure proper staffing for shipping and receiving.
• Direct day-to-day warehouse activities including shipping, receiving and inventory control.
• Oversee Storage Buy transactions, receiving errors, and product staging.
• Maintain warehouse equipment with preventive maintenance and coordinate repairs.
• Lead warehouse safety programs and ensure OSHA compliance.
• Train associates on SOPs and manage disciplinary processes.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure efficient operations.
• Prepare activity reports and resolve discrepancies in shipping, invoices, and receiving reports.
• Ensure products are staged for counting and stored safely to conserve space.
