POOLCORP, the world’s leading distributor of outdoor living products, seeks graduates for its Warehouse Operations Management Trainee program in Lenexa, KS. This entry-level MIT role includes six months of hands-on training in Distribution Center operations, purchasing, and leadership, with potential relocation assistance for opportunities nationwide.

The program emphasizes classroom and on-site learning, with rotations across operations and management.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Associate’s degree in Industrial Distribution, Supply Chain Management, Management, Operations or related discipline with a minimum 2.5 GPA.
Experience in leadership or problem-solving role; internship or volunteer work accepted.
Willingness to relocate during and after the program (at company expense) and travel up to 25%.
Ability to operate in a distribution warehouse environment and manage rapidly changing priorities.
Strong customer service orientation and motivated mindset.

Responsibilities

Receive hands-on training across Operations, Management and Purchasing.
Observe experienced staff to learn methods, procedures and performance standards.
Shadow contractors, service/maintenance, and customers to understand the business.
Participate in classroom training on operations, leadership and systems.
Deliver a presentation to senior management upon program completion.
