Job summary

POOLCORP, headquartered in Lakewood, NJ, offers an entry-level Management in Training - Operations (MIT) program based in our distribution warehouse. You will receive hands-on exposure to Operations, Purchasing, and Management while developing leadership and problem-solving skills for a long-term career in distribution.

Training is on-site with a state-of-the-art EDGEucation Center; relocation assistance is provided as you advance from trainee to supervisor or manager roles across nationwide

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in a related field with minimum 2.5 GPA.
• Experience in a leadership or problem-solving role.
• Willingness to relocate and travel up to 25%.

Responsibilities

• Receive hands-on training across Operations, Management, and Purchasing.
• Observe experienced staff to learn procedures and performance standards.
• Shadow contractors, service/maintenance, and retail customers to understand the business.
• Attend classroom training at the EDGEucation Center in Plano, TX.
• Deliver a comprehensive presentation to senior management after MIT program completion.
• Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
