Job summary

POOLCORP is hiring for an entry-level Management in Training - Operations (MIT) program in Texas. You will receive six months of hands-on training in distribution, learning operations, procurement and leadership.

Training occurs on-site, with relocation assistance and potential advancement to supervisory roles nationwide after graduation. The program emphasizes a fast-track path through operations, planning, and people leadership within a Fortune 1000 company with robust benefits and growth

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or Associate’s degree in Industrial Distribution, Supply Chain Management, Management, Operations or related with 2.5 GPA minimum.
Experience in a leadership or problem-solving role; internships considered.
Desire to work in a distribution warehouse and adapt to changing priorities.
Willingness to relocate during and after the program (company-paid).
Ability to travel 25% of the time.

Responsibilities

Receive hands-on training in Operations, Management, and Purchasing.
Observe experienced employees to learn methods and performance standards.
Shadow contractors/builders, service/maintenance, and retail store customers.
Participate in classroom training sessions at the EDGEucation Center in Plano.
Give comprehensive presentation to senior management upon MIT program completion.
