Job summary

POOLCORP is launching the Management in Training – Operations (MIT) Program, an entry-level, hands-on training track based in our distribution warehouse, designed to lead to Operations Supervisor or Manager roles nationwide.

The program offers six months of guided training in swimming pool supply, irrigation, and landscape distribution, with on-site training and company-supported relocation after completion.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Associate degree in Industrial Distribution, Supply Chain Management, Management, Operations or related discipline with 2.5 GPA minimum.
• Leadership or problem-solving work experience.
• Willingness to relocate during and after the program (company expense).
• Ability to travel 25% of the time and to operate in a distribution warehouse environment.

Responsibilities

• Receive hands-on training across Operations, Management and Purchasing.
• Observe experienced staff to learn procedures and performance standards.
• Shadow contractors, service/maintenance, and retail customers to learn the business.
• Participate in classroom training at the EDGEucation Center in Plano, TX.
• Present a comprehensive final project to senior management at program end.
• Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
