Job summary

POOLCORP offers a Management in Training - Operations (MIT) program, an entry-level, hands-on training track based in our distribution warehouse. It provides six months of guidance to learn about pool supply, irrigation and landscape distribution, with a path to Operations Supervisor or Manager roles nationwide.

Training is on-site, with relocation support after completion. Graduates will gain exposure to operations, purchasing and management, culminating in a formal presentation to senior

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Associate’s degree in Industrial Distribution, Supply Chain Management, Management, Operations or related field.
• Minimum 2.5 GPA.
• Willingness to relocate during/after the program (company expense).
• Ability to travel 25% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Receive hands-on training in all areas of the distribution center, including Operations, Management and Purchasing.
• Observe experienced employees to learn methods, procedures and performance standards.
• Shadow contractors/builders, service/maintenance and retail store customers to learn the business.
• Participate in classroom training at the EDGEucation Center in Plano, Texas.
• Deliver a comprehensive presentation to senior management upon program completion.
• Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
