Job summary

POOLCORP is launching the Management in Training – Operations (MIT) program in its distribution warehouses. This entry-level, hands-on training spans six months with guidance to learn the swimming pool supply, irrigation and landscape distribution industry.

Graduates may pursue Operations Supervisor or Manager roles nationwide. Training is on-site and relocation assistance is provided after completion, with opportunities to advance to leadership positions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or associate degree with at least 2.5 GPA in a relevant field.
• Demonstrated leadership or problem-solving experience, incl. internships or clubs.
• Willingness to relocate during/after the program at company expense.

Responsibilities

• Receive hands-on training across Operations, Management and Purchasing.
• Observe and learn methods, procedures and performance standards.
• Shadow contractors, service/maintenance and customers to learn the business.
• Attend classroom training on-site at EDGEucation Center in Plano, TX.
• Deliver a presentation to senior management upon program completion.
• Undertake other duties and special projects as assigned.
