Job summary

POOLCORP offers a Management in Training - Operations (MIT) program based in our distribution warehouse. It provides 6 months of guided training across operations, purchasing and leadership, with potential to move into supervisory roles nationwide. Training is on-site at multiple CA and other locations.

Graduates may relocate with company assistance and pursue opportunities in operations management, with travel up to 25% and ongoing development through EDGEucation Center sessions in Plano, TX.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Associate’s degree in Industrial Distribution, Supply Chain, Management or related field with min 2.5 GPA.
• Experience in leadership or problem-solving roles; internships acceptable.
• Willingness to relocate during/after the program; travel up to 25%.

Responsibilities

• Receive hands-on training in all distribution center areas: operations, management and purchasing.
• Shadow contractors, service/maintenance and retail customers to learn business aspects.
• Attend EDGEucation Center training sessions in Plano, TX covering leadership and systems.
• Deliver a comprehensive presentation to senior management at MIT program end.
• Complete additional duties and special projects as assigned.
