Job summary

POOLCORP is seeking entrants for its Management in Training - Operations (MIT) program at SCP Distributors in Clackamas, OR. You will undergo six months of hands-on training across warehouse operations, management and purchasing, with on-site instruction at the EDGEucation Center in Plano, TX.

Upon completion, graduates can apply for nationwide Operations Supervisor or Manager roles. Travel up to 25% and relocation support are provided by the company.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Industrial Distribution, Supply Chain Management, Management, Operations or related discipline with minimum 2.5 GPA.
• Relevant leadership and/or problem-solving work experience or internships in distribution/supply chain environments.

Responsibilities

• Receive hands-on training across Operations, Management and Purchasing in the distribution center.
• Observe and learn methods, procedures and performance standards from experienced staff.
• Shadow contractors, service/maintenance, and retail customers to learn the business landscape.
• Deliver a comprehensive final presentation to senior management after MIT completion.
