Job summary

POOLCORP invites applications for the Warehouse Operations Management Trainee (MIT) in Colorado. This entry-level program provides 6 months of hands-on training in a distribution warehouse, with classroom sessions at the EDGEucation Center and opportunities to advance to Operations Supervisor or Manager nationwide.

Successful graduates move into management roles; relocation assistance is provided, and training is onsite.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Associate’s degree with minimum 2.5 GPA.
• Leadership or problem-solving experience in relevant roles.
• Willingness to relocate during and after the program; travel up to 25%.
• Ability to operate in a distribution warehouse environment and lift up to 75 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Receive hands-on training across Operations, Management and Purchasing.
• Observe experienced staff to learn methods and performance standards.
• Shadow contractors and store customers to understand the pool, irrigation and landscape business.
• Participate in EDGEucation Center classroom sessions (Plano, TX).
• Deliver a final presentation to senior management after the MIT program.
