Job summary

Kenco Logistics in Chattanooga seeks an Operations Supervisor to direct warehouse teams, ensure safety and quality, and drive efficient distribution operations in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree, at least three years in warehousing, and supervisory experience. You will plan work, schedule inventories, supervise shipping, mentor staff, and support safety initiatives while maintaining policy compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum of three years of experience in warehousing, distribution, or related field.
• Minimum of six months supervisory experience.
• PC and computer skills including Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Direct the work of associates in the warehouse/distribution environment.
• Ensure safety and quality of work for departments and areas of responsibility.
• Determine work volume, prepare schedules, and expedite workflow for cost effectiveness.
• Assign duties, examine work for quality and adherence to procedures.
• Schedule inventories and monitor outbound shipping accuracy.
• Mentor and coach associates, including performance evaluations and corrective actions.
