Job summary

GEODIS is seeking a hands-on Warehouse Operations Lead to establish procedures for shipments, inventory, and safety. You will manage staffing, training, and performance while coordinating with customer service and sales to ensure demand is met.

In this role you will drive KPI performance, oversee budgeting and compliance with standards such as ISO/CTPAT, and partner with engineering to optimize warehouse layout and product placement.

Qualifications

• Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS)
• Experience with labor management systems (LMS)
• PC literate; proficient with Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business publications/regulations
• Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedures
• Ability to present information and respond to groups of managers and clients
• Ability to solve practical problems and interpret varied instructions

Responsibilities

• Establishes and leads operational procedures for shipments, inventory control, and warehousing
• Ensures safe, compliant, and efficient warehouse operations
• Coordinates with customer service and sales to align activities
• Manages staff scheduling, training, and performance reviews
• Oversees budget, KPI tracking, and P&L for the distribution center
• Supports layout planning with engineering for optimal product placement
