Job summary

GEODIS is seeking an Operations Manager to lead all aspects of warehouse operations, focusing on inventory integrity, order fulfillment, and transportation of goods. The role involves coordinating with customer service and sales, maintaining equipment, and optimizing processes to deliver results.

The position requires strong WMS and labor-management experience, MS Office proficiency, and the ability to interpret complex materials while communicating effectively with teams and clients.

Qualifications

• Experience with warehouse management systems preferred.
• Experience with labor management systems and productivity initiatives preferred.
• Must be PC literate and proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business materials and regulations.
• Ability to write reports and communicate with management and customers.

Responsibilities

• Establishes and leads warehouse operational procedures for receiving, putaway, picking, packing and shipping.
• Keeps warehouse inventory current and accurate.
• Monitors facility KPI and ensures cost efficiency and profitability.
• Maintains equipment condition and coordinates repairs.
• Coordinates with customer service and sales for smooth operations.
• Manages staffing, training, and performance of supervisory and hourly staff.
