Job summary

Floor & Decor Holdings Inc. in Gretna, LA is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to direct store warehouse operations, supervise warehouse specialists, order pickers, and forklift operators, and support daily freight scheduling.

You will schedule personnel, oversee shipping/receiving, inventory control, equipment maintenance, safety programs, and ensure procedures are followed to meet deadlines and efficiency. This role requires 1–3 years of supervisory experience and strong computer skills.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of previous supervisory experience required (preferably in a warehouse or distribution center environment)
• Excellent interpersonal, team building, delegating and follow-up skills
• Ability to work with and maintain effective working relationships with other departments in the company
• Effective communication skills (oral and written)
• Competent in performing basic mathematical calculations

Responsibilities

• Schedule warehouse personnel to ensure proper staffing for shipping and receiving
• Direct day-to-day warehouse activities including shipping, receiving, and inventory control
• Oversee Storage Buy transactions, receiving errors, and product staging
• Maintain warehouse equipment with preventive maintenance programs and coordinate repairs
• Ensure safety programs and procedures are followed for a safe workplace
• Train associates and enforce standard operating procedures
• Resolve shipping discrepancies and ensure timely data entry
• Coordinate with other departments to support efficient warehouse operations
