Job summary

Floor & Decor is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to direct daily store warehouse operations and supervise warehouse specialists, order pickers and forklift operators. You will support the Receiving Supervisor in managing daily freight schedules based on customer and inventory needs.

The role requires 1-3 years supervisory experience in a warehouse or distribution environment, strong interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to work with multiple departments to keep shipping and

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of supervisory experience in a warehouse or distribution center environment
• Excellent interpersonal, team-building and follow-up skills
• Ability to work with and maintain effective relationships with other departments
• Effective communication skills (oral and written)
• Competent in basic mathematical calculations
• Strong computer skills, with the ability to work in Windows-based systems
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
• Available to work extended hours, especially during peak seasons

Responsibilities

• Schedule warehouse personnel daily to ensure proper staffing for shipping and receiving
• Direct day-to-day warehouse activities including shipping, receiving, maintenance, inventory control
• Oversee Storage Buy transactions, receiving errors, and product staging
• Maintain warehouse equipment and coordinate repairs
• Implement warehouse safety programs in line with OSHA rules
• Train associates and ensure SOP compliance
• Handle employee inquiries and problem-solving
• Coordinate with other departments to optimize warehouse operations
• Prepare activity reports for management
• Resolve discrepancies with shipping, invoices, and receiver reports
• Ensure product staging for counting and inspection
• Maintain proper storage to conserve space and safety compliance
• Oversee inventory rotation
• Perform other duties as needed by management
