Job summary

Floor & Decor is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to direct store warehouse operations in Norco, CA. You will supervise warehouse specialists, order pickers, and forklift operators, supporting the Receiving Supervisor with daily freight scheduling to meet customer and inventory needs.

This role emphasizes daily staffing, safety programs, SOP adherence, and coordination with other departments to ensure efficient shipping, receiving, and inventory control.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of supervisory experience in a warehouse or distribution center environment
• Excellent interpersonal, team building, delegating and follow-up skills
• Ability to work with and maintain effective working relationships with other departments
• Effective communication skills (oral and written)
• Competent in performing basic mathematical calculations
• Strong computer skills, with the ability to work in Windows-based systems
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment and meet established deadlines
• Available to work extended hours, especially during peak seasons

Responsibilities

• Schedule warehouse personnel to ensure proper manning for shipping/receiving
• Direct day-to-day warehouse activities (shipping, receiving, maintenance, inventory)
• Oversee Storage Buy transactions, receiving errors, and staging of products
• Maintain warehouse equipment; coordinate preventive maintenance and repairs
• Lead warehouse safety programs and ensure OSHA compliance
• Train associates on SOPs and ensure adherence
• Handle inquiries and problem-solving within the team
• Coordinate with other departments to improve warehouse operations
• Complete activity reports for management
• Monitor paperwork flow from Receiving to Inventory Control
• Resolve discrepancies in shipping, invoices, packing slips, and receiver reports
• Execute Storage Buy Audit COP and ensure proper product staging
• Oversee inventory rotation and storage optimization
• Perform other duties as directed by management
