Job summary

DoorDash Essentials, LLC is seeking a hands-on operations leader to manage a high-volume distribution center and a small leadership team. You will recruit, coach and retain Shift Leads and Operations Associates, own scheduling and labor budgeting, and drive site-level performance metrics.

You will lead improvements based on data, ensure safety and quality, and collaborate with central teams to empower your team with the tools to succeed.

Qualifications

• 3+ years’ team leadership experience in high-volume operations (retail, grocery, hospitality, fulfilment, logistics or operations).
• Managed high-performance teams of 10+ employees.
• Able to own and drive 24/7 operations across multiple shifts.

Responsibilities

• Manage a 5–15k sq ft distribution center and the local warehouse operating team.
• Lead and develop Shift Leads and Operations Associates, setting the team up for safe, productive work.
• Own day-to-day warehouse operations, scheduling, labor budgeting, and site-level metrics.
