Job summary

Kenco Logistics is seeking an Operations Supervisor to lead warehouse teams in a fast-paced distribution environment. You will ensure safety, quality, and efficient workflow while guiding daily activities and inventory processes. The role emphasizes coaching, performance management, and adherence to SOPs.

Ideal candidates bring a bachelor's degree and several years in warehousing with supervisory exposure, plus strong PC skills and a collaborative mindset aligned with our safety-focused culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree (B.A./B.S.) from a four-year college or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum of three years of experience in warehousing, distribution, or related field.
• Minimum of six months supervisory experience.
• PC and computer skills including Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Direct the work of associates in the warehouse/distribution environment.
• Oversee safety and quality of work across departments and areas of responsibility.
• Determine work volume, prepare schedules, and expedite workflow for cost effectiveness.
• Assign duties, examine work for quality, and ensure policy conformity.
• Monitor and direct shipping of outbound orders and assist with inventories.
• Mentor, coach, and evaluate performance; handle disciplinary actions when needed.
• Support process improvements and participate in Safety Committee activities.
• Assist General Manager with miscellaneous tasks as assigned.
