Job summary

GEODIS is seeking a Warehouse Operations Supervisor in Columbus, OH to oversee daily distribution center activities and lead a team in order fulfillment, inventory control, and safety compliance. The role drives scheduling, labor management, and performance improvement within a fast-paced 3PL environment.

You will supervise staff, coordinate workflows, and partner with leadership to optimize processes and ensure accurate stock and reporting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3–5 years related warehouse/distribution center experience.
• 1 year supervisory experience preferred.
• Experience with warehouse equipment and systems (WMS, LMS).
• PC literate with Outlook/Word/Excel.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily activities within the distribution center.
• Supervise staff and direct work in order fulfillment, inventory management and material handling.
• Prepare schedules and respond to labor needs.
• Manage labor hours and payroll in timekeeping system.
• Interview and train new team members.
• Ensure compliance with policies and safety procedures.
• Identify process improvements to increase efficiency.
• Maintain records, stock levels, and reporting for leadership.
