Job summary

GEODIS McDonough, GA is seeking an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to coordinate daily distribution center activities and lead a team to meet accuracy and efficiency targets.

You will oversee labor scheduling, inventory control, safety compliance, and training, while partnering with cross-functional teams to continuously improve processes and customer service. Prior supervisory experience in a warehouse and familiarity with warehouse management systems are required to succeed in this role.

Qualifications

• Ideally minimum high school diploma or GED and relevant warehouse experience.
• Experience reading and interpreting safety rules and manuals.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates daily activities within the distribution center
• Supervises staff and directs work related to order fulfillment, inventory management, and material handling
• Prepares schedules and responds to labor needs
• Manages labor hours and payroll in electronic timekeeping systems
• Interviews and trains prospective and new team members
• Ensures safety and compliance with company policies and ISO9002 procedures
• Prepares reports for leadership
• Other duties as required and assigned
