Job summary

ODW Logistics is seeking an Operations Supervisor to coordinate daily warehouse activities and ensure efficient goods flow in a fast-paced environment. You will oversee multiple departments, manage staffing, and uphold safety, quality, and cost targets.

You will drive continuous improvement using lean principles, monitor KPIs, and partner with leadership to meet customer demands while sustaining an engaged, productive team onsite in Ohio.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of supervisor experience
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education/work experience
• Advanced knowledge of warehouse management systems
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Oversee multiple employees in a multi-faceted environment to complete inbound, stocking, picking, packing, inventory, shipping and return processing activities
• Regulate daily workload and assign productivity goals based on customer’s demands
• Train, coach, engage and develop employees on efficient work methods to improve accuracy, efficiency, profitability, safety and security
• Interview, hire and onboard employees to sustain a successful onboarding experience
• Lead continuous improvement projects to improve operational efficiency and customer profits
• Monitor hourly employee performance and conduct year-end reviews
• Manage scheduling through workforce management software (UKG)
• Ensure adherence to contractual requirements and KPIs detailing performance
