Job summary

GEODIS is a global 3PL leader seeking a Warehouse Supervisor in Columbus, OH. You will coordinate daily DC activities, supervise staff across order fulfillment, inventory management, and material handling, and drive efficiency with process improvements.

The role includes scheduling, payroll oversight, training, and compliance with safety and ISO9002 standards. The ideal candidate has 3–5 years in warehousing, supervisory experience, and familiarity with warehouse equipment and WMS/LMS systems.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3–5 years related warehouse/distribution center experience.
• 1 year supervisory experience preferred.
• Experience with warehouse equipment and WMS/LMS systems.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily activities within the distribution center.
• Supervise staff and direct work on order fulfillment, inventory and material handling.
• Prepare schedules and adapt to labor needs.
• Manage labor hours and payroll in electronic timekeeping systems.
• Interview and train new team members and develop staff.
• Ensure compliance with safety and company procedures; monitor stock levels and records.
• Recommend process improvements to improve efficiency.
• Prepare reports for leadership and maintain warehouse conditions.
