Job summary

Smithfield Foods in North Carolina is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to manage receiving, transfers, picking/packing and shipping, while leading a team and ensuring production goals are met safely and efficiently.

You will drive continuous improvement, enforce GMP standards, and maintain accurate documentation, with flexibility to work nights and weekends and travel up to 5% as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain or related field with 2+ years of experience.
• Experience leading staff or projects.
• Knowledge of OSHA Standards, USDA, HACCP and EPA Regulations.
• Knowledge of SAP and manufacturing/inventory software.

Responsibilities

• Safety & Compliance — ensure full compliance with safety legislation and codes of practice.
• Warehouse Operations — manage receiving, storing, and shipping with accurate paperwork.
• Team Leadership & Development — lead workforce, identify training needs, coach team.
• Performance & Productivity — optimize practices to maximize efficiency and continuous improvement.
• Reporting & Documentation — maintain records, reports, and logs with attention to detail.
