Job summary

Smithfield Foods is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to manage critical warehouse operations including receiving, transfers, picking/packing, and shipping. You will lead a team, make staffing decisions, and ensure safety, quality, and compliance standards while driving efficiency and continuous improvement.

The role requires a 4-year degree in Supply Chain or related field with 2+ years of experience, knowledge of OSHA/USDA/HACCP/EPA regulations, and familiarity with SAP and MS Office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain or a related field and 2+ years of relevant experience; or equivalent
• Experience leading/training staff or managing a process or project
• Knowledge of OSHA, USDA, HACCP and EPA regulations
• Manufacturing knowledge including yields, plant efficiency, procedures
• Knowledge of SAP, manufacturing/inventory software and MS Office

Responsibilities

• Safety & Compliance — ensure full compliance with safety regulations and codes.
• Warehouse Operations — oversee receiving, transfers, picking/packing, and shipping activities to ensure timely, accurate execution.
• Team Leadership & Development — lead and train staff, conduct regular performance reviews, build strong employee relations.
• Performance & Productivity — improve processes to boost efficiency, align with standards, drive continuous improvement.
• Reporting & Documentation — maintain records and logs to ensure transparency and compliance.
