Job summary

Smithfield Foods is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to manage key warehouse operations, including receiving, transfers, picking, packing and shipping. You will lead a team, plan staffing, and ensure safety, quality and compliance standards are met while optimizing workflows.

Responsibilities include maintaining accurate paperwork, enforcing GMP practices, and driving continuous improvement across operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain or related field and 2+ years of relevant experience, or equivalent combination.
• Experience leading staff or projects with training or coaching responsibility.
• Knowledge of OSHA standards, USDA, HACCP and EPA regulations.
• Manufacturing knowledge including yields, plant efficiencies, and procedures.
• Familiarity with SAP, manufacturing software, inventory software and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety and regulatory compliance for the team and operations.
• Oversee warehouse activities from receiving to shipping to ensure on-time, accurate performance.
• Lead and develop the workforce, conducting regular performance reviews.
• Review practices to maximize efficiency and drive continuous improvement.
• Maintain records, reports and logs for transparency and accountability.
