Job summary

Smithfield Foods is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to manage key warehouse operations, including receiving, transfers, picking, packing and shipping. You will lead a team, plan staffing, and ensure safety, quality and compliance standards are met while optimizing workflows.

Responsibilities include maintaining accurate paperwork, enforcing GMP practices, and driving continuous improvement across operations.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain or related field and 2+ years of relevant experience, or equivalent combination.
Experience leading staff or projects with training or coaching responsibility.
Knowledge of OSHA standards, USDA, HACCP and EPA regulations.
Manufacturing knowledge including yields, plant efficiencies, and procedures.
Familiarity with SAP, manufacturing software, inventory software and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

Ensure safety and regulatory compliance for the team and operations.
Oversee warehouse activities from receiving to shipping to ensure on-time, accurate performance.
Lead and develop the workforce, conducting regular performance reviews.
Review practices to maximize efficiency and drive continuous improvement.
Maintain records, reports and logs for transparency and accountability.
