Job summary

Smithfield Foods, Inc. is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to manage receiving, transfers, picking/packing, and shipping. You will lead a team, make staffing decisions, and ensure production goals are met while upholding safety, quality, and GMP standards.

The role emphasizes optimizing workflows, enforcing hygiene practices, and ensuring accurate paperwork and labels. Some travel may be required; nights/weekends possible.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain or related field and 2+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience leading and coaching staff or managing a process or project.
• Knowledge of OSHA Standards, USDA, HACCP and EPA Regulations.
• Manufacturing knowledge of yields, plant efficiencies, and operations.
• Knowledge of SAP, inventory software and MS Office; able to travel up to 5%.
