Job summary

Smithfield Foods, Inc. in Tar Heel, NC is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to lead a team and manage receiving, transfers, picking/packing, and shipping. The role emphasizes safety, quality, and GMP compliance while driving production goals.

You will oversee staffing decisions, monitor workflows, and ensure accurate paperwork. A Bachelor’s in Supply Chain or related field with 2+ years’ experience is required; some nights/weekends and up to 5% travel may be necessary.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain or related field and 2+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience leading staff or projects and providing training.
• Knowledge of OSHA Standards, USDA, HACCP and EPA Regulations.
• Manufacturing knowledge of yields and plant efficiencies.
• Knowledge of SAP, manufacturing software, inventory software, and MS Office.
• Willingness to work nights/weekends and travel up to 5%.

• Warehouse Operations - manage receiving, transfers, picking/packing, and shipping.
