Job summary

Smithfield Foods, Inc. in St. Charles, IL seeks a Warehouse Supervisor to lead daily warehouse operations, including receiving, transfers, picking/packing, and shipping, while ensuring safety, quality, and GMP compliance.

You will manage a team, make staffing decisions, and drive productivity with a focus on accuracy and timeliness. The role requires a 4-year college degree in Supply Chain or related field, 2+ years of leadership experience, knowledge of OSHA, USDA, HACCP and EPA regulations,

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain or related field required.
2+ years of leadership, training or mentoring experience.
Knowledge of OSHA Standards, USDA, HACCP and EPA Regulations.
Experience with SAP and production/inventory software.

Responsibilities

Safety & Compliance – ensure full compliance with safety legislation and codes.
Warehouse Operations – manage receiving, transfers, picking/packing, and shipping.
Team Leadership & Development – lead and train staff; conduct performance reviews.
Performance & Productivity – optimize practices to boost efficiency.
Reporting & Documentation – maintain records and logs with accuracy.
