Job summary

Kenco Logistics is seeking an Operations Supervisor to lead warehouse associates, ensuring safety, quality and efficiency. You will direct workloads, schedules and inventory processes while coaching staff and managing performance in a fast-paced environment.

Key responsibilities include enforcing SOPs, coordinating receiving and shipping, and driving process improvements with a focus on safety and reliability across the distribution center.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree from a four-year college or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum three years of warehousing or distribution experience.
• Minimum six months of supervisory experience.
• Proficient PC skills including Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Determine work volume, prepare schedules and expedite workflow for cost efficiency.
• Assign duties and inspect work for quality, neatness and policy conformance.
• Schedule inventories and oversee accurate outbound shipping.
• Issue instructions and ensure accountability per SOPs.
• Maintain harmony among associates and resolve grievances.
• Manage timekeeping, mentor staff, and conduct performance evaluations.
• Monitor zoning and product databases during receiving.
• Train on policies, procedures and standard works; assist Safety Committee.
• Assist in process improvements and miscellaneous tasks as assigned.
