Job summary

Floor & Decor in Mission Viejo, CA is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to direct daily warehouse operations across the store. You will supervise warehouse specialists, order pickers and forklift operators, and support the Receiving Supervisor in managing freight schedules based on customer and inventory needs.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of previous supervisory experience required.
• Excellent interpersonal, team building, delegating and follow-up skills.
• Ability to work with other departments and maintain relationships.
• Effective communication skills (oral and written).
• Basic mathematical calculations capability.
• Strong computer skills, Windows-based systems.
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment and meet deadlines.
• Availabile to work extended hours during peak seasons.

Responsibilities

• Schedule warehouse personnel to ensure proper manning for shipping/receiving.
• Direct day-to-day warehouse activities including shipping, receiving, and inventory control.
• Oversee Storage Buy transactions, receiving errors, and product staging.
• Maintain warehouse equipment and ensure safety; coordinate repairs as needed.
• Manage warehouse safety programs in line with OSHA regulations.
• Train associates and enforce standard operating procedures.
• Handle inquiries and coordinate with other departments to optimize operations.
• Prepare activity reports for management and monitor paperwork flow from Receiving to Inventory Control.
• Resolve discrepancies with shipping, invoices, and receiver reports.
• Ensure products are staged for counting and stored safely to conserve space.
