Qualifications

• 1-3 years of supervisory experience required in warehouse or distribution
• Excellent interpersonal, team building, delegating and follow-up skills
• Ability to work with and maintain effective relationships with other departments
• Effective communication skills (oral and written)
• Competent in basic mathematical calculations
• Strong computer skills, Windows-based systems

Responsibilities

• Schedule warehouse personnel to ensure proper staffing for shipping and receiving
• Direct day-to-day warehouse activities: shipping, receiving, maintenance, inventory control
• Manage Storage Buy transactions, receiving errors, and product staging
• Maintain warehouse equipment with preventive maintenance and coordinate repairs
• Ensure safety programs and OSHA compliance in the warehouse
• Train associates and enforce standard operating procedures
• Handle disciplinary processes to maintain productive labor climate
• Assist with employee inquiries and problem solving
• Coordinate with other departments for efficient warehouse operations
• Prepare Activity Reports for management
• Monitor paperwork flow from Receiving to Inventory Control Specialist
• Resolve discrepancies in shipping, invoices, packing slips, and receiver reports
• Execute the Storage Buy Audit COP
• Ensure products are staged for counting and inspection
• Store products properly to conserve space and safety
• Oversee inventory rotation
• Perform other duties as assigned
