Job summary
Johnstone Supply is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to oversee day-to-day warehouse operations, including receiving, inventory control, picking, packing, shipping, and delivery coordination. You will lead a team to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and safety in a fast-paced environment.
The role requires leadership experience in a warehouse, forklift operation, ERP familiarity, and a strong commitment to safety and process improvement.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED; 3+ years related experience and/or training.
- Minimum of 1 year working in a lead or supervisory capacity in a warehouse.
- Experience operating forklift and other warehouse equipment safely.
- Experience with inventory management systems.
- Experience with OSHA and safety regulations and procedures.
- Experience with ERP software in a warehouse environment.
- Knowledge of HVAC wholesale industry, principles, and practices.
Responsibilities
- Directs day-to-day activities of warehouse staff to ensure efficient operations.
- Oversees receiving, inventory control, picking, packing, and shipping tasks.
- Monitors performance and implements improvements to meet objectives.
- Ensures safety procedures are followed and conducts regular safety inspections.
- Coordinates staffing, training, and performance evaluations.
