Job summary

Johnstone Supply is seeking a hands-on Warehouse Supervisor in Beltsville, MD to lead daily warehouse operations and a dedicated team. You will oversee receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipping while ensuring accuracy and safety.

You will drive inventory control, perform cycle counts, and collaborate with purchasing, sales, and customer service to meet delivery goals. A forklift license or certification is required or obtainable.

Qualifications

• 3+ years supervising a warehouse team in a distribution environment.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Experience with inventory control and cycle counts.
• Forklift certification or willingness to become certified.

Responsibilities

• Lead a warehouse team to manage receiving, storage, picking, packing and shipping.
• Maintain accurate inventory with cycle counts and documentation.
• Coordinate inbound/outbound shipments ensuring safety and accuracy.
• Train new staff and uphold a safety-first culture.
• Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment.
