Job summary

Kenco Logistics is seeking a Warehouse Lead to coach and train warehouse associates, oversee daily tasks, and back up the supervisor as needed. You will lead safety checks, inventory tasks, and equipment operations in a fast-paced distribution environment.

The role emphasizes leadership, training, and adherence to DOT/IATA/IMDG or related procedures while ensuring accurate paperwork and back-up coverage across the warehouse.

Qualifications

• Must have a High School Diploma or GED and be able to pass a background check and drug screen.
• Prior 2+ years in warehouse/distribution with 6 months leadership experience or training in a distribution environment.
• Must be licensed forklift operator or able to obtain forklift license.

Responsibilities

• Coach and train warehouse associates and forklift drivers; conduct PIT and annual recertification.
• Perform safety observations and daily inspections on equipment.
• Operate powered industrial equipment to move products and materials for distribution.
• Complete shipping/tracking labels and regulatory paperwork per SOPs.
• Assist in cycle counts and report variances to leadership.
• Provide backup to supervisor and other warehouse roles as needed.
