Job summary

Kenco Logistics is seeking a Warehouse Lead to coach and mentor warehouse staff, ensure safety, and oversee daily operations in a fast-paced facility. The role emphasizes training, inspections, and accurate paperwork to support distribution for customers.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred and able to pass a background check and drug screen.
• Minimum 2 years prior warehouse/distribution operations experience and 6 months experience related leadership or supervisory experience.
• Must be a licensed forklift operator or be able to obtain a Forklift Operator license.

Responsibilities

• Train new warehouse associates and forklift drivers and conduct PIT and annual recertification training.
• Conduct EIP, performance, and maintenance observations.
• Safely operate powered industrial equipment to move products or materials for distribution.
• Complete applicable paperwork per SOPs and regulatory agencies.
• Participate in inventory/cycle count activities and report variances to leadership.
• Perform daily safety inspections on forklift trucks and ensure inspection readiness for SQFI, FDA, and customers.
• Review and analyze daily production reports.
• Serve as backup to other warehouse roles as needed.
