Job summary

Kenco Logistics is seeking a Warehouse Lead to coach and train warehouse associates, including forklift drivers, and back up the supervisor as needed. The role covers duties across shipping/receiving, inventory control, and general warehouse functions, with a focus on safety and process adherence.

You will lead by example, perform PIT operations, participate in inventory activities, and ensure inspections and regulatory compliance are maintained, supporting a strengths-based team environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred and be able to pass a background check and drug screen.
• Minimum 2 years prior warehouse/distribution operations experience and 6 months experience related leadership or supervisory experience and/or training in a distribution environment.
• Must be a licensed forklift operator or be able to obtain a Forklift Operator license.

Responsibilities

• Train new warehouse associates and forklift drivers and conduct Powered Industrial Truck (PIT) and annual recertification training.
• Conduct EIP, performance, and maintenance observations.
• Safely operate powered industrial equipment to move products or materials for distribution.
• Complete applicable paperwork per standard operating procedures and applicable regulatory agencies.
• Serve as backup to supervisor and adapt responsibilities to department needs.
