Job summary

Kenco Logistics is seeking a Warehouse Lead to coach and train warehouse associates, oversee daily tasks, and back up the supervisor as needed. The role includes operating PIT equipment, conducting safety inspections, and ensuring accurate shipping and inventory processes.

The Lead will also support inventory counts, maintain regulatory readiness for SQFI/FDA, and ensure proper product rotation while reporting performance metrics to leadership.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred; background check and drug screen required.
• Minimum 2 years warehouse/distribution experience and 6 months leadership or supervisory experience.
• Must be a licensed forklift operator or able to obtain a Forklift Operator license.

Responsibilities

• Coach and train warehouse associates to fulfill daily tasks.
• Provide backup to supervisor as needed.
• Operate powered industrial equipment to move products and materials.
• Complete shipping/tracking paperwork per SOPs and regulatory agencies.
• Participate in inventory/cycle counts and report variances.
• Perform daily forklift safety inspections.
• Keep the facility inspection-ready for SQFI, FDA, and customers.
• Document incidents and report to supervisor.
• Ensure proper product rotation and review daily production reports.
• Serve as backup to other warehouse roles as needed.
