Job summary

Kenco Logistics is seeking a Warehouse Lead to coach and train warehouse teams, oversee daily operations, and provide backup for supervision. The role emphasizes safe material handling, accuracy in shipping/receiving, and adherence to regulatory standards.

The Lead will also conduct PIT training, perform safety inspections, participate in cycle counts, and ensure smooth operation across departments while supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred and be able to pass a background check and drug screen.
• Minimum 2 years prior warehouse/distribution operations experience and 6 months leadership or supervisory experience and/or training in a distribution environment.
• Must be a licensed forklift operator or be able to obtain a Forklift Operator license.

Responsibilities

• Coach and train warehouse associates to fulfill daily tasks and provide backup to supervisor.
• Operate powered industrial equipment to move products and materials and handle shipping/receiving tasks.
• Maintain safety via daily inspections, report incidents, and ensure compliance with SQFI, FDA, and customer needs.
• Participate in inventory/cycle count activities and report variances; review production reports.
