Job summary

NFI Industries is seeking a General Manager I in Greensboro, NC to lead a large warehouse operation, drive orders accuracy, packing standards, and on-time delivery. The role reports to the Director of Warehouse Operations and requires strong leadership across exempt/non-exempt staff.

Responsibilities include P&L management, labor planning, vendor relations, and safety compliance, with focus on inventory control and customer service excellence. Travel to other facilities may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field.
• 7–10 years’ overall experience managing 100,000+ sq ft warehouse/distribution center.
• Experience with Manhattan Warehouse Management System (WMS).
• MS Office skills and knowledge of warehouse equipment.
• Willingness to work irregular hours and on-call for alarms.

Responsibilities

• Oversee facility operations and ensure accurate order picking and packing.
• Lead labor planning based on sales forecasts and data.
• Manage vendor, carrier, and customer relationships.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and safety compliance.
• Develop and manage the facility P&L and budget.
• Coach and develop employees; ensure onboarding and safety.
