Job summary

NFI Industries is seeking a Warehouse Operations Manager I to lead daily warehouse activities at our Mount Zion, NC facility. You will supervise warehouse staff, implement action plans, and ensure efficient inbound/outbound logistics and equipment usage.

The role requires strong leadership, safety compliance, and experience with warehouse management systems. Expect irregular hours and ongoing collaboration with senior management to meet budgets and service levels.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain, Business or related field preferred.
• 5+ years of supervisory experience in a warehouse or distribution environment.
• Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (Manhattan preferred).
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
• Working knowledge of warehouse/mechanical equipment.
• Willingness to become certified in OSHA/DOT/HAZMAT/FDA regulations as necessary.

Responsibilities

• Develops a strategic plan with the General Manager for efficient, cost-effective operation.
• Ensures efficient shipping and receiving work schedules to meet goals.
• Directs operations of warehouse supervisors and personnel.
• Oversees inbound and outbound shipments for timeliness and accuracy.
• Audits compliance of internal and external SOPs.
• Manages equipment utilization and maintenance scheduling.
• Plans long-term labor needs based on sales and forecasts.
