Job summary

NFI Industries in Greensboro, NC is seeking a Warehouse Operations Manager I to lead the day-to-day warehouse activities for a 100,000–500,000 sq ft facility. You will supervise supervisors and staff, manage inbound/outbound shipments, and drive safety and efficiency programs to meet goals.

The role requires a strong background in warehouse operations, WMS experience (Manhattan preferred), and leadership in fast-paced environments. Travel to other sites may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, business, or related field preferred.
• 5+ years of supervisory experience in warehouse or distribution.
• Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (Manhattan preferred).
• Strong MS Office skills and knowledge of warehouse equipment.
• Knowledge of OSHA, DOT, HAZMAT, FDA regulations.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develops strategic plan with GM to optimize facility operation.
• Directs warehouse supervisors and personnel to meet goals.
• Oversees inbound and outbound shipments for accuracy and timeliness.
• Ensures safety and sanitation schedules meet standards.
• Manages staffing, onboarding, and performance reviews.
• Analyzes workload vs labor hours and equipment.
• Partners with leaders to balance labor against workload.
• Travels to other warehouses as needed.
