Job summary

The NFI Warehouse Operations Lead in Greensboro, NC coordinates daily warehouse activities, supervising shift staff and ensuring safe, efficient handling of goods. Under the Operations Supervisor, you direct work assignments and support material handling, forklift tasks, and inventory accuracy.

Qualifications

• Experience in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
• Experience with Warehouse Management System.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Ability to handle changing priorities and use good judgment under pressure.
• Good visual acuity to inspect shipments.
• Data entry to create daily inventory reports.
• Accurate record-keeping in sorting, counting and verifying items received.
• Strong time management, organization and self-motivation.
• MHE experience or willingness to learn MHE.
• Attention to detail and excellent customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with shift leadership to accomplish shift goals.
• Oversees and coordinates warehouse processes such as receiving, put away, picking, and loading of products.
• Directs work assignments to employees.
• Provide daily hands-on support in Material Handling and Forklift responsibilities.
• Drive compliance with safety, quality, and productivity goals.
• Brainstorms and suggests process improvements for supervisor.
• Communicate professionally with internal and external partners.
• Identify problems and assist in solutions with management.
• Ensure safe operation of material handling equipment.
• Train new and current employees on SOPs and WIs.
• Maintain clean, organized warehouse; organize inventory and staging for delivery.
• Ensure product is stored safely and in proper locations.
• Assist in warehouse security and reporting.
