Job summary

NFI is seeking a Warehouse Operations Supervisor in Greensboro, NC to oversee daily warehouse operations, supervise staff, and help meet production goals. You will manage shipping/receiving schedules, monitor performance, and coordinate equipment use and maintenance, with a strong emphasis on safety and HR practices.

Ideal candidates have 1–5 years of supervisory experience, a related bachelor’s degree or equivalent, and familiarity with WMS (Manhattan preferred).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain or related field or 1-5 years of supervisory experience.
• Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (Manhattan preferred).
• Ability to work in a fast paced, changing environment.
• Ability to handle shifting priorities and use good judgment in stressful situations.
• Experience with or willingness to learn performance metrics and process improvement.

Responsibilities

• Develops and implements shipping and receiving work schedules and assignments to meet goals.
• Provides direct supervision to warehouse personnel matching skills to work requirements.
• Supervises inbound and outbound shipments for timeliness and accuracy.
• Ensures equipment is used efficiently and coordinates maintenance with management.
• Drafts daily end-of-shift reports and communicates results to leadership.
• Coaches and develops staff; conducts hourly performance reviews.
• Maintains timekeeping records and supports safety programs.
