Job summary

NFI in Greensboro, NC is seeking a Warehouse Operations Manager I to oversee day-to-day warehouse operations, lead supervisors and staff, and drive efficiency across shipping, receiving, and labor planning. The role reports to the General Manager of the Distribution Center.

The position requires 5+ years of supervisory experience in a warehouse setting, familiarity with Manhattan WMS, and solid knowledge of OSHA/DOT regulations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain, Business or related field preferred.
• 5+ years of supervisory experience in a warehouse or distribution environment.
• Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (Manhattan preferred).
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
• Working knowledge of warehouse / mechanical equipment.
• Ability to work in fast paced environment.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develops a strategic plan with the General Manager to ensure efficient and cost-effective operation.
• Ensures efficient shipping and receiving work schedules to meet operational goals.
• Directs the operations of warehouse supervisors and personnel.
• Oversees inbound and outbound shipments for timeliness and accuracy.
• Audits compliance of internal and external SOPs.
• Plans long-term labor needs based on sales, forecasts and historical data.
