Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is seeking a Continuous Improvement Engineer to apply data-driven CI methods across warehouses and transportation operations. You will identify process gaps, develop improvements, and drive value through Lean tools and engineering practices.

The role interfaces with operations management and supports go-live, certifications, and regulatory compliance. Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business, or Supply Chain plus 5+ years in Warehousing, Transportation or Manufacturing.
• 5+ years of related experience in warehousing/transportation and/or manufacturing.
• Proficiency in PowerBI/Tableau and SQL data analysis.
• Experience with Lean methods and PDCA, Value Stream Mapping, Kaizen, 5S/Warehouse organization.

Responsibilities

• Collects data and performs statistical analysis; maps and documents processes to drive CI improvements.
• Manages CI and engineering projects; supports go-live and sustainment of improvements.
• Coaches teams in lean methods and QA/Lean principles; leads Kaizen events.
• Delivers regular reports on progress; supports inventory and supply chain strategy.
• Interacts with operations management and customers to implement CI solutions.
• Supports design, implementation, monitoring of quality management systems.
